These grapes were grown on our steepest and stoniest terroir on a volcanic soil called red Quarzite, it is a very hard material, giving the wine this typical slightly bitter and salty minerality, but also the fine aromas of apricots and peaches.
The grapes were picked by hand in the middle of October and fermented with indigenous yeast and the wine was matured in big oak casks.
The vivid freshness in combination with the slight residual sugar of 7 g/l makes this wine perfectly suitable for Asian food and sweet water fish. The wine should be served well chilled.
Food recommendation: Light meat, loan pork or veal.
Alcohol: 12,4% vol.
Res. sugar: 7,0 g/l
Acidity: 7,4 g/l
