Harvested in November, the grapes that produced this fine Lemberger had a long fermentation period on the mash in French wooden fermenters - vinification in 60% new barrels.
This red wine has a very dense taste of blackcurrants with juniper berries, pepper and vanilla notes. Its harmonious tannin structure is created by the combination of new and used wood barrels. Overall it is a complex wine with a variety of flavours.
