"A cooler site then this other Lemberger vineyards, on marl and iron (apparently gives the wine a blood taste), surrounded by fores. 50% new oak.
Dark, ripe strawberry fruit. Graphite, red-current jam, earthy, pencils, box leaf. Beautiful play of cool dark greens and rick deep rends. Lovely firm grip and hibiscus petals and this is so very elegant, poised, with a ballet-dancer control of its movements and muscle. This is very good! The finish chisels down into a long stony line." / Tamlyn Currin @ Jancis Robinson /
