On the German side of Schweingenin the sough palatinate region. Heavey soil with clay overground and limestone rocks in teh ground.
The grapes were carefully selected by hand, descaled and fermented on the juice. After three weeks of fermentation on open oak barrels, the wine was gently juiced. The further maturation took place for 18 months in small barrels of best Geman and French oak. In the feilling, and other treatments no fining added.
Lively, rich cherry red.
On the nose, scent of raspberyy, cherry, tobacco, herbal tea and forest soil.
Concentrated on the palate, powerful but elegentand juicy with very good length and best structure.
Storage potential for many years.
