The German side in Schweigen in the south palatinate region. Heavey soil with clay overground and limestone rocks in the ground.
The grapes were carefully selected by hand, descaled and fermented on the juice. After 3 weeks of fermentation in open barrel, the wine was gently juiced. The further maturation took place for 18 months in small barrels of best German and French oak. In the felling, filtration and other treatments no fining added.
Durable cherry red.
In the nose scent of wild strawberry, cherry, spices, cold campfire and sandalwood.
On the palate powerful, fill-bodied, warm flattering.
Storage potential for many years.
