The grapes for this Riesling are harvested from 10-20 years old vines in the vineyard sites of Appenheim and Gas-Algesheim, that have soil rich in clay and limestone.
All grapes are picked by hand. Maceration on skins, must clarification and fermentation with natural yeasts in steel tanks until January. Afterwards another mature on lees until bottling in March.
Complex and spicy on the palate, it has fruity flavours of apricot and citrus. On the nose, it has aromas of ripe peach.
A classic dry Riesling it is fine and mineralic with a crisp finish.
Alcohol: 12,5% vol.
Res. sugar: 4,7 g/l
Acidity: 8,2 g/l
