We only use the best, carefully selected grapes from the best vineyards and parcels of Schlossberg, Kirchberg, Eichberg, “Im Leh” and “Kähner”. These wines then mature in our barrels. They have unique character, potential and finesse.
This wine has fine notes of citrus with hints of vegetables, nuts and herbs. Lovely acidity, elegant, finishes with nuances of flint.
Food recommendation: Mediterranean dishes, fish, various paste
Soil: Tephrite, steep and wind-sheltered part of the vineyard
Vinification: 12 months in large oak barrels, followed by 6 months in stainless still (on its less)
