"Nice fresh nose with a peppermint edge. Crisp apple, fennel, greengage. Nice tingly acidity with a white-grapefruit edge. Dry-tasting and springhtly." / Tamlyn Currin @ Jancis Robinson / 15.5 points
Wine: Sonett is an internal qualification for high-quality dry wines that are both appealing on the terrace and can also be used very well as food companion.
Tasting notes: In the nose fresh with ripe green apples, citrus and floral scent. Bright aroma on the palate, brilliant and attractive with a very fine density, but also wonderfully lively. Tropical fruit and nice flavors such as Pomelo. The ripe acidity is well interwoven and yet very refreshing. Accessible charm with vivid character, an astonishingly versatile wine.
Maturity: Through handpicking and the gentle treatment during pressing and ageing, the wine has already reached drinking maturity and can stored for another 2-3 years.
