Fully ripe selection of grapes hand-picked on about 35-40 hl/ha then cropped gently. Crushed must fermentation and maceration for about 20 days then maturing in barriques (French oak) for 12 months.
Complex bouquet of blackberry and elderberry, red cherry, raspberry, vanilla and dark chocolate, aroma of cedar wood. Elegant tannins, good structure and intensity on the palate. Multi-layered aftertaste and good ageing potential.

Food recommendation: this wine goes well with poultry, light meat, pasta and mushrooms as well as spicy companions like grilled spiced fish.
