Wines from "Island Marianneaue" are very distinct and in limited supply. The vines grow on washed-up gravel and meadow loam, and also benefit from the climate balance of the river Rhine. The island wines have a unique flavour.
With the new century Red Riesling is vinified again as a rare speciality. With mash fermentation it reached it's irresistible salmon rosé colour. A truly exquisite indulgence.
Best to drink: Ready to drink now but can ripen for 2 more years.
Keep: Can keep an other 5-7 years and even more. Need to keep the storage temperature 12°C
