For the estate wine "Melaphyr" the grapes are coming out of a steep-facing slope which warms up quickly based on volcanic rock. The Riesling grapes for this wine were harvested after a very long growing season, after two selections in the first half of October by hand. After a maceration period of around 6 hours, the grapes were gently pressed and temperature controlled fermented with natural yeasts.
Taste: Modern, crispy Riesling with intensive flavours and a spicy exotic aroma.
