Stone-carved apple, lime. A linear, muscular wine that tastes and feels like honey behind sea glass, fennel bulb in long, green-glass corridors and celeriac sweet earthiness. Real tension pulling the wine long and forward."

Wine making: After a late harvest in mid October and a short mashing time followed a long fermentation with natural yeasts in the large wooden barrel and stainless steel tank.

Taste: The wine radiates a tremendous power and spice. You are bound  to tight minerality and a fine salty note. The wine is very concentrated and has fine mineral flavors.

Soil: The soil is very heterogeneous, one finds slate, volcano rock (porpghyry and melaphyr) as well as sandstone. The slope is exposed to south- southwest and up to 60% steep.

Average age of the vines: 35 years

Yield: 45 hl/ha

Alcohol: 13,0% vol.
Res. sugar: 3,7 g/l
Acidity: 8,1 g/l
