Schneider's Riesling Spätlese is a very complex, deep white wine with intense fruit flavours.
The grapes for this wine were grown in the Norheimer Kirschheck vineyard in the Nahe region of Germany. Its steep, south-facing slopes warm up quickly and retain the heat due to the soil being rich in grey slate. The vines there are around 55 years old.
The wine was fermented in 50% oak barrel and 50% stainless steel vats both with natural yeast. It was bottled in March 2020.
