"Texbook Silvaner. Borage, cucumber and white pepper. Lick of lovage. Sprinkle of white peppery stone dust. Electric energy: tap-dancing cross parkour. Great fun." / Tamlyn Currin @ Jancis Robinson / 15.5 points
A young wine with a complex character.
In their region, Silvaner is the most important grape variety, with 40% share. Always Francnian dry, i.e. without tastable sweetness, The Silvaner aroma let yuo feel the soil on which it has grown. That's why its taste used to be called "earthy". Silvaner is the ideal food companion, especially when food is prepared as gently and naturally as possible.
Its bouquet is lively and spicy. Yet their young, fresh Silvaner already has a surprising amount of minerality.
