"Sage dust, lime jelly, pineapple. Bounce and pounce! Bit of nettle over the top of sweet lime and lime bonbon. Happy wine!" / Tamlyn Currin @ Jancis Robinson / 15.5 points
This dry white wine is a blend of Wirsching's typical white grape varieties - Silvaner, Scheurebe and Riesling.
The wine's juicy, Franconian style comes from the Silvaner, the finesse-rich fruit comes from the Scheurebe and freshness with fine acidity from the Riesling.
Even the name is unique - it is inspired by the Gothic parish church of Iphöfen.
Food recommendation: The perfect accompaniment to fried or grilled fish, mild Asian fishes and light summer cuisine.
