German Pinot Noir is absolutely fantastic - it's very fruit driven, it's very elegant and the tannins are very very soft. It's just a fabulous wine to drink every day with or without food.
After a fantastic tasting with head sommelier Quentin Bouillet, the flagship restaurant Marcus, of the celebrity chef Marcus Wareing and his restaurants, now offers it's clientele 24 of The WineBarn's wines.
The wines selected by Quentin were Bassermann-Jordan's dry Grand Cru Rieslings, Meyer-Näkel and Becker's amazing Pinot Noir. By the glass they have Allendorf: Save Water Drink Riesling and our Aldinger Estate Pinot Noir.
We are over the moon and can't wait to hear how the wines go down at the restaurant. Why not book your table now and have yourself a treat!
Last month The WineBarn had our colleges tastings in Cambridge and Oxford, and we were lucky enough to be joined by two of our producers - we asked them why they're so interested in the UK market.
