The WineBarn’s Annual Portfolio Tasting was a great success. Held at The Royal Air Force Club in London, the event was attended by a record number of guests this year and the atmosphere was absolutely electric!
As you may know, winemakers in the Ahr region such as Meyer-Näkel, were badly affected by severe flooding last July, but they are coming back stronger and we are delighted to be able to offer a limited selection of their exceptional vintages.
As Managing Director of The WineBarn, an award-winning specialist German wine merchant, I embark on a wine tour of Germany each year to catch up with the talented winemakers we work with and taste the fruits of their labour. However, it has been exhilarating and very rewarding converting wine lovers to German wine, and offering them a new experience which they might otherwise not have had."- Iris Ellmann, Managing Director - Judged by...
