"White-flower aromas laced with characteristic apple and peach. Deep and defined peach concentration, some forest honey; linear with grippy tannins and refined spice. Racy acidity stops just short of biting, with tremendous mineral momentum and a long, citrus finish."

The old vines that produced the grapes for Grans-Fassian's Leiwen Alte Reben Riesling were grown in slate rich soil, which gives this wine its inspiring minerality. This wine has a crisp juiciness and refreshing aromas of citrus fruit. Flavours of ripe green limes form the basis for the finesse and lightness that this dry white wine exudes. Its finish has a striking length.
