Wine: After a late harvest in mid October and a short mashing time, followed a long fermentation with natural yeasts in the large wooden barrel and stainless steel tank.
Tasting notes: The wine radiates a tremendous power and spice. You are bound by a tight minerality and a fine salty note. The wine is very concentrated and has fine mineral flavours.
Soil: Is very heterogeneous, one finds slate, volcano rock (porhyry and melaphyr) as well as sandstone. The slope is exposed to south-southwest and up to 60% steep.
Age of vine: 35 years
Alcohol: 12,5% vol.
Res. sugar: 2,6 g/l
Acidity: 8,4 g/l
