"Organic since 2012, certified since 2023. From three of their vineyard sites. Spontaneous fermentation.Smells like lemon blossom. A bit peachy, a bit sharp apricots. Neat, zippy, pert. Brisk but with plenty of charming fruit."

This classic dry Riesling has aromas of peach and fresh lime. On the palate it has a delicate, juicy minerality. Its precise interplay of sweetness and acidity give this wine its lightness and finesse.
The grapes come from younger Riesling vineyards in Appenheim and Gau-Algesheim. Tertiary marl and limestone characterise the soil there. The south-facing vineyards have medium to steep slopes.
The grapes are harvested by hand according to their ripeness. For optimal extraction of the aromatic substances, the grapes are gently crushed in the winery and left to stand in their own juice for a few hours. After gentle pressing, the juice ferments with wild yeast in stainless steel tanks. After four months of maturation, the wine was bottled in the spring.
