The WineClub Terms & Conditions


The WineClub – Overview

There are two levels of The WineClub, Starter and Advanced. Members of both levels of the The WineClub will receive a case of 12 bottles (Grand Cru and Premier Cru wines for Advanced memberships) of pre-selected wines ‘delivered to their door’* every three months with delivery included in the monthly membership price.  WineClub members in both levels will also receive 10% discount on any further online purchases placed outside of The WineClub membership, including tickets for events**. Members will also receive the following:

  • Invites to The WineClub members’ only events**
  • Expert advice on food pairing with each of your wine cases**
  • Expert advice on hosting your own wine dinners for friends and family
  • A special gift at the end of the year.

* Please be aware that any difficulties with delivery and/or parking (e.g. stairs to access the property, parking restrictions, narrow tracks to property etc) must be made aware to The WineBarn at sign up to The WineClub, as we may need to make special arrangements with our courier company to have your cases delivered to you. Any parking tickets received must be paid for by the consumer, and failed delivery attempts due to problems that have not been notified to The WineBarn in advance will result in a re-delivery charge to the consumer. Free delivery excludes delivery of cases to postcodes in zone 5 (Scottish Islands, Channel Islands, IOM, Northern and Southern Ireland, Highland Scotland and IOW – AB, DD, FK, IV and KA)

**Please note that events and tastings are subject to cancellation. If for whatever reason The WineBarn has to cancel an event due to unforeseen circumstances, we will notify you by email and refund any monies paid to The WineBarn. Events and tastings are not guaranteed to be held every year and are subject to staff and time being available to plan and host such events.

Starter Memberships

Starter level members will pay £75.00 per month and your first payment will be taken when you sign up on our website. Your membership must last for a minimum of one year, after this, you will automatically be signed up for a further year unless you cancel the membership prior to the first month of the next year’s payment is taken from your account.

Advanced Memberships

Along with the same benefits as the Starter membership, Advanced members will also receive 1-to-1 expert wine guidance with Iris Ellmann, MD of The WineBarn, to discuss and choose additional wines, or for further food pairings with the membership wines. A special gift will also be delivered to Advanced members with their final 12 bottle case of the year.

Advanced level members will pay £119.00 per month, with your first month’s payment being taken when you sign up on our website. Your membership must last for a minimum of one year, after this, you will automatically be signed up for a further year unless you cancel the membership prior to the first month of the next year’s payment is taken from your account.

Membership payment details:

1. Your monthly payments will be transferred from the debit or credit card you have registered with PayPal on or about the same date each month.

2. When you feel you are ready to explore more, you can change from a Starter membership to an Advanced Membership by contacting wine@thewinebarn.co.uk.

The WineClub cancellation

Email us on wine@thewinebarn.co.uk if you wish to cancel your membership within 14 days of signing up to either the ‘Starter’ or ‘Advanced’ membership.
