Vineyard: After the Alsatian Weissenburg inclined to the south above the location VDP.Gorsse Gewäch "Sankt Paul".
The soil is based on a large limestone rock with a very low circulation of clayey loamy topsoil.
Vinification: The grapes were carefully selected by hand, de-stemmed and fermented on the mash. After 3 weeks of fermentation in open oak vats, they were gently pressed. The following maturation were for 18 months in small oak barrels.
Filling was done without filtration and fining of the wine.
Wine: Intense and dense ruby red.
Wonderful scent of blackberries, cherry, pipe-tobacco, vanilla and bittersweet chocolate. Strong tannin, punchy yet elegant and flattering in the mouth with endless play and elegant reverberation.
Great storage potential.

Acidity: 7,9 g/l
