A dense ruby red to crimson Limberg. It has intense aromas of cassis, cherry and blackberry, as well as notes of pepper and caramel. Very rich on the palate, this red wine is both powerful and elegant at the same time.
Cabernet Sauvignon 50%, Merlot 20%, Lemberger 20%, Pinot Noir 10%.
Vinification: Matured in barriques (oak barrels) for 15 months.

Food recommendation: The perfect companion to braised or roasted meat.
Soil: Grown on a special volcanic soil, the so called Limburgit. A soil with high ash content. Fermented on the skins for 3 weeks after a period of cold soaking. Aged in barrels for 2 years.
