Göttelmann 2019 Münsterer Rheinberg Riesling Auslese (0,5l)

Göttelmann 2019 Münsterer Rheinberg Riesling Auslese (0,5l)

Regular price £27.40

This wine made from raisins, selected in the single site Rheinberg in the last week of October.
A special task force for four pickers collected naturally dried berries over several days to receive a harvest of 300 litres that are 600 bottles of 500ml. The concentration of sugar in the juice was about 30%.
This kind of sweet wine is the top of German wine production. A basket filled with aromas of dried apricots, rhubarb and quince.

Food recommendation: Drink it with any sweet or even Gongonzla. It is a lovely drink as a starter too.

Alcohol: 7,5% vol.

absolute treasure

The Göttelmann 2019 Münsterer Rheinberg Riesling Auslese is an absolute treasure—a stunning example of the artistry behind German sweet wine. Made from naturally dried raisins, this wine is produced with incredible care, handpicked by a dedicated team over several days.

The flavors are nothing short of exquisite. Think of a basket overflowing with dried apricots, rhubarb, and quince—rich, sweet, and perfectly balanced by a lively acidity. At 7.5% alcohol, it’s wonderfully light and easy to enjoy, with a smooth, luscious texture that feels indulgent without being heavy.

What I love most is its versatility. It’s a dream with desserts or a bold cheese like Gorgonzola, but it also works beautifully as an aperitif to start a meal. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply treating yourself, this wine is an unforgettable experience.

At £27.40 for a 500ml bottle, it’s an incredible value for such a high-quality, handcrafted wine. If you’re a fan of sweet wines, this is one you absolutely have to try.
