Knebel's signature Riesling - elegant and hearty.
Classed as a VDP. GUTSWINES, it is an entry-level Riesling in the origin-based quality hierarchy of prestigious VDP member wineries. This wine comes from the Knebel estate's own vineyards and complies with strict VDP criteria.
Grapes were grown in vineyards located in the lower slopes of Winningen. They were grown sustainable and carefully harvested by hand. The wine was fermented using natural yeast and had long contact on the lees.
Alcohol: 11,5% vol.
Res. sugar: 3,8 g/l
Acidity: 6,4 g/l
I saw this new producer that I had never heard of so I decided I might give them a try. Luckily I did as I instantly fell in love with this wine. I cannot wait for the new vintages to be released.
