This Scheurebe Premier Cru has a great aromatic play with a concentrated aroma. The aroma is reminiscent of a Sauvignon Blanc, however, it is much fruitier despite being a dry white wine. It fascinates with its exotic fruit aromas of mango, passion fruit, grapefruit and lemon balm. With its intense aroma and harmonious taste, this Scheurebe from old vines impresses.
Scheurebe is a cross between Riesling and Silvaner. Wirsching are considered a regional pioneer of this grape variety, because in 1952 Hans Wirsching planted the very first Scheurebe in Franconian in the "Kronsberg". Their many years of experience make them a true Scheurebe expert.
Food recommendation: The perfect companion to aromatic dishes, fruity or spicy Asian dishes or a cheese platter.
Soil: Alternating sequence of coloured clay and sulphate rocks, formed over millions of years, solidified under the pressure of overlying rocks.Keuper wines have power and a full body like the rich marshlands in which the rock was formed.
