Wine: A typical Rheingau Riesling. Racy acidity, grippy finish and delicate fruitness: Granny Smith, vineyard peach, grapefruit.
Vineyard: From Hallgarten to Rüdesheim, where the Rhine river changes its otherwise so straight course, their vines grow under the protection of the Taurus mountains. The change of the flow direction creates southern slopes on which their grapes are blessed with sunshine. The varied soil from loam and loess to quartzite allow many facets.
Food recommendation: The perfect accompaniment for plain everyday cuisine or simply for a cozy get-together.
