Vineyard: The Leinhöhle is situated on the western brim of Deidesheim next to Kieselberg and Paradiesgarten. The vineyard is south facing and close to the forest. So it gets a lot of sun during the night.
Soil: Eroded sandstone, small sandstone gravel, loam.
Harvest: Selective picking in mid. of October.
Cellar: The grapes were softly pressed and the must settled for 24 hours. The fermentation took place in traditional oak with natural yeast.
Taste: On the nose it is citric nad peach with hits of flint-stone.
On the palate it is juicy with fresh acidity
Food recommendation: White meat (veal), shellfish, regional kitchen.
Alcohol: 12,50% vol.
Res. sugar: 4,4 g/l
Acidity: 8,2 g/l
